OtherCourseTypes FacultyandStaffcanrequesttocreateothertypesofcoursesontheITRCFormspage.Thecoursetypesavailableare: AMetacourseiswhentwoormoreAcademiccoursesarecombinedintoone. ASpecialCourseisaNon-AcademiccoursethatcanbeusedasaDevelopmentcourseorasaMiscellaneouscourse. Developmentcourses,alsoknownasaSandboxcourse,willneverhavestudentsenrolled.Thiscoursetypeismeantforcollecting,developing,andmanagingcoursematerialforafuturecourse. Miscellaneouscourseshaveawidevarietyofusessuchasaresourcepage,clubsite,orcoursethatislongerthanthestandardsemester. ACommunityCourseisforthosewhoarenotaffiliatedwithISUbutstillwantaMoodlecourse.Thesecoursescanbefoundonthe MoodleISUCommunitysite.
