SkiptomaincontentCreatepromotionsBycreatingpromotionsin Play Console,youcangiveusersafreepaidapp,in-appproductorsubscriptionwithapromocode. Therearetwotypesofpromocodes: One-timeusecodes:Automaticallygenerateduniquecodesthatcanberedeemedonce.Userscanredeemone-timeusecodesdirectlyfromthePlayStoreorin-app. Customcodes:Customcodesspecifiedbyyouthatcanberedeemedmultipletimesoruptoyourpredefinedlimit.Userscanonlyredeemcustomcodesin-app.Customcodesareonlyavailableforsubscriptionsandcanonlyberedeemedbyuserswhohavenotpreviouslysubscribed. Note:Youmustmakeeligibilitycriteriaforpromotionscleartoyourusers. Youcancreateupto500promocodesperquarteracrossallnon-subscriptionpromotionsinanapp.Youcanuseanycombinationofpaidappandin-apppromocodes,suchas: 500paidapppromocodes,or 500promocodesforonein-appproduct,or 250paidapppromocodes+250promocodesforonein-appproduct,or 100promocodesforfivein-appproducts. Youcanusesubscriptionpromotionswithinthefollowinglimits: One-timeusecodes:10,000promocodesperquarterpersubscriptionproduct.  Customcodes:Youcanchoosearedemptionlimitduringpromotioncreation,whichmustbebetweenaminimumof2,000andamaximumof99,999. Selectan app. SelectUseracquisition> Promotions>Addnewpromotion. ReviewandagreetotheTermsofUse. Followtheon-screeninstructionstonameyourpromotion,choosestartandenddates,selectyourpromotiontype,andenterthenumberofpromocodesyouwanttocreate. Ifyou’readdingacustomcode,enterthecodeandtheredemptionlimit.Herearesomethingstoconsiderwhencreatingacustomcode: Customcodesmustbeuniqueperapp,meaningyoucan’treuseacustomcodeinthesameappforadifferentcampaign.  Customcodesmustbealphanumericandarenotcasesensitive. Active:Userscanredeemyourpromocodessinceit'swithinthestartandenddateforthepromotion. Paused:Userscan'tredeemyourpromocodesuntilyouturnthepromotionbackon.OnyourPromotionspagein Play Console,makesureyou'vesetthestatustoOnandsettheenddateinthefuture. Note: Afterapromotion’senddatehaspassed,thepromocodeisexpired.Afterthepromocodeisexpired,userscan’tredeemthecode,andyoucan’tvieworupdatethecodein PlayConsole. Updatealiveorpausedpromotion Goto PlayConsole. Selectan app. SelectUseracquisition>Promotions. Select"Activepromotions"fromthedrop-down.
